LOTEXAN
Lotexan is a siloxane-based, colour-less, waterproofing
system. It is suitable for mineral renders and paint layers,
smooth and rough concrete, precast concrete, exposed aggregate
concrete, exposed masonry, sandstone, porous natural stone
and asbestos cement.
Lotexan is applied by flood coating or low-pressure sprayer.
After evaporation of the solvent, the main reactive substance
is deposited in the pores of the mineral substrate and forms
its waterproofing characteristics by chemical reaction with
the normal building material and air humidity. It forms
no visible sheen on the surface, is highly alkali resistant,
reduces surface pollution, salt efflorescence and mould/algae
formation.
